Economy and Immigrant Lifestyle.

We all know that social classes exists whether we want to admit it or not. Social class starts with where and who we are born too. Just by little things that later become big like if you were born into a wealthy family, that will directly influence the attitude you develop towards the world and all the people in it. The same concept applies for if you are born into a humble home with or born with just a single parent present. No matter the class you are born into you will experience social and psychological challenges based on the outlook your parents had or have on life. People from the lower and middle class may not like the way upper-class people raise their children. Maybe there is not enough love and too many gifts offered that are seen to fill that lack of love and attention. The same goes for upper-class people, they may look down on lower classes and think that the way they dress or the jobs they have are a horrible. But at the end of the day, we have to understand that we all judge each other based on what we have and what opportunities we have brought into our lives. Some people simply cannot stop being who they are of who they are. It is in the blood and in the mentality. It's important for all people, no matter what the class is, to learn to establish harmony and neutral attitudes towards other people that may live their lives differently.

Another topic that we have to talk about is how that influence people to immigrate to the United Sates of America. We talked in class about a specific family from Mexico that they were trying to figured out everything so they can cross the border and start a new and a better life. Side note is that not all of the people crossing the border illegally are Mexicans, only 25% of the people are from Mexico and the rest are from Central or South America. They typical case when families try to move to the US is that the dad is the first one to cross the border because he can start looking for a job and start stablishing before the whole family gets there. The dad struggles for the first months to try to look for a job and they eventually get one but even lower than the minimum payment salary. Working with the minimum salary take them more than 2 years to have their families traveling to where they are. There are a lot of researches and statistics about how immigrants make their life here in the states, but the truth is more than that. I have a couple of friends that have been working here in the states illegally and they struggle a lot. They all agree that it’s one of the hardest things to do but at the end of the day is worth doing it for a better life back in their countries. The money that families in Mexico received from family members in the US is not the main income in their house. There might be a lot of families that don’t really have a job and they wait for the other part of the family to send the money, but in Mexico if you try and work you can have a decent life. Overall, I think that people that look to immigrate to United States is because they don’t have any other option of employment or also because they have tried it all and don’t have anything to lose. I agree that the life in the US is better than other countries but in some ways not in every single way.
